Kirkpatrick Memorializes Victims of 9/11, Praises America’s First Responders

Flagstaff, AZ – Former State Representative Ann Kirkpatrick, candidate to represent Arizona's 1st Congressional District, released the following statement in observance of the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania:

"Americans across the country will never forget the attacks of September 11th that occurred seven years ago today," said Kirkpatrick.  "Nor should they.  We must continue to remember the nearly 3,000 men, women, and children who lost their lives and to keep their families in our daily prayers."

"We must also honor the first responders who displayed such valor and courage on that tragic day," Kirkpatrick continued.  "We owe the police, firefighters, medical, and emergency personnel who continue to put their lives on the line for our communities an eternal debt of gratitude."

"It is in their honor that we must renew our commitment to securing America from the continued threat of terrorism to make certain that horrific day is never repeated."
